We strongly oppose the unethical practice of scalping, which unfairly inflates prices and restricts access to high-demand items. To uphold this commitment, we have implemented the following anti-scalper policy:

Purchase Limits: To prevent bulk purchases by scalpers, we enforce purchase limits on high-demand items. These limits are set to ensure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to purchase these products.

Identification Comparisons: For certain high-value or limited-release items, customers information (name, address, IP, Payment information etc.) may be compared to other in process orders. We reserve the right to cancel and refund your purchase if we suspect you of trying to violate the Purchase Limit on high-demand or Limited-release item.

No Resale Allowed: Products purchased from Koala's Korner-shop are intended for personal use only and may not be resold for profit. Customers found to be engaging in scalping or resale of our products will be prohibited from future purchases and may face legal action. Units are numbered and serialized to help combat scalping.

Repair & Restoration Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all repair and restoration services provided by Marsupial Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "Marsupial Solutions") through Koala Koa ("the Service"). By submitting your console or device for repair, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Overview

This is a mail-in repair and restoration service for retro video game consoles and related hardware.

We will perform an initial inspection upon receipt and provide a detailed report (including photos/video) with findings, recommended repairs, and a quote.

No repairs or modifications will begin without your explicit written approval (via email or the method we specify).

We film and live-stream the restoration process for transparency and community enjoyment. Recordings may be used on our YouTube channel, social media, or website (we can blur or omit personal identifiers upon request).
2. Shipping and Risk

You are responsible for securely packaging and shipping your console to us (we recommend using a tracked carrier with insurance).

We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of your console during shipping to or from our facility.

Upon receipt, we will inspect the console and notify you of any visible shipping damage.

We will use reasonable care when handling your console, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or issues not related to the approved repairs.
3. Diagnosis and Approval

The initial inspection is included in the base service fee (or quoted separately if applicable).

Any additional repairs, parts, or cleaning beyond your approved request will require new authorization and may incur extra charges.

If we determine the console is beyond economical repair (e.g., severe corrosion, missing critical components, or extensive prior damage), we will notify you and discuss options, including return of the unit as-is.
4. Turnaround Time

Typical turnaround is 2–6 weeks from approval of the quote, depending on parts availability and current workload. We will provide an estimated completion date.

Live streams and updates will be shared as the work progresses.
5. Payment

A deposit or full payment may be required before beginning approved repairs.

Final payment is due before we ship the console back to you.

6. Warranty

We provide a 90-day limited warranty on the specific repairs and parts we install (starting from the date we ship the console back to you).

The warranty covers defects in our workmanship or parts we supplied, but does not cover:

Pre-existing conditions or damage

Normal wear and tear

Issues caused by improper use, further modifications by you or others, liquid damage, or shipping damage

Failures due to age-related component degradation not addressed in the approved repair

To claim the warranty, you must return the console to us at your expense for evaluation. If the issue is covered, we will repair it at no additional labor cost.
7. Liability Limitations

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, games, save files, or sentimental value.

Retro consoles are vintage electronics; even after repair, they may still experience age-related failures in the future.
8. Abandoned Property

You must claim and pay for your repaired console within 30 days of our notification that it is ready.

If unclaimed after 30 days (and after reasonable attempts to contact you), we may consider the console abandoned and dispose of it in accordance with applicable law.
9. General

These terms may be updated from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your service applies.

Any disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

By submitting your console, you confirm you are the legal owner and have the right to authorize repairs.
